Community Empowerment at the grass root level to make them self-sufficient and self-reliant in sustainable environment.
A society free from hunger, crime and disease where basic need of every individual is fulfilled and there exists no discrimination in caste, creed and birth.
An association of self esteemed dynamic village youth named as Janakalyan Jubak Sangha came into existence, being registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 in 1982 and with some necessary amendments in December 1994, it was re-named as UNNAYAN. Since then, it has been endeavoring to serve the disadvantaged people with people’s active participation through cultural, educational, social and developmental interventions based on community needs and priorities. UNNAYAN gives top most priority to grassroots level, and intends to prepare the human resources, as an active agent for developmental actions.
The Society is established for the overall development of community with highest priority to children, women and youth especially belonging to weaker sections (i.e. SCs, STs, Backward Classes, Slum Dwellers etc.) of the society.
